This is getting to be the time of year we celebrate the Holidays, the nights are frosty and the turkeys are nervous. It is typically a time of year that we think about family, but more importantly that we should be with family. Our days are so filled with the clutter of Life that more often than not we take those that we love for granted. We say that we don't, but because of our choices, we do.

I encourage each of you to take some time and list out everything you want to accomplish in your life (at least 100 things). Assume time and money is not an object. Get crazy and have some fun putting this list together. Then take the first two things on your list and play them against each other, picking the one that has more meaning to you. Then do the same for items 3 and 4, and so on. Play each item against each other until you have only three things remaining from your list. These three things will be the ones that you hold closest to your heart, the ones that are most meaningful. Consider these your, "Big Rocks".
Now that you have identified your Big Rocks in your life, put them in your calendar, first, then fit in the softball and the bowling league games around them. When you consider your Big Rocks in every decision you make; you will find your decision making process is a cinch and you will be in complete alignment with your life. Less conflict, less clutter, and you will have the peace to say No to the Good, and Yes to the Great things in your life.
I will also promise you a second thing, your Big Rocks have nothing to do with cars, vacations, homes, travel, charity; the clutter of life, and have everything to do with relationships! Those relationships that you love and hold dear and near to your heart. Why not take a moment this season and give one of those relationships a hug, a call, or tell them, in a hand written letter, how dear they are to you... The choice is yours and only yours.
You don't have tomorrow, and they don't either...
This has helped me get closer to finding what my purpose/mission in this life really is.
