Dreams start as a Thought...

It all started with a thought. You didn’t invite it. You didn’t see it coming, and now you can’t ignore it. It's stuck in your head and you can’t shake it off.

Admit it, your life has now changed, it is different than it was before all because of this crazy thought. You have a decision to make; are you going to ignore it, develop it, pursue it or justify it away? The choice is yours. Some see this thought as an invitation to something better, an adventure, a once in a lifetime achievement or an opportunity. To others, it is a means in which they can fortify their justification where they are in life, under their circumstances (what an awful place to be).

Are you going to allow this thought to simply be a wispy hope, a fantasy, or a stepping stone to your next adventure? It is in your hands, it is now solely your responsibility. There is only one hot seat in the room, and you drew the short straw.

Now the fight in your head, is ON, the gloves are coming off. Will you honor this thought and pursue it OR will you simply justify where you are in life? You continue to wrestle with it in your head; weighing out the pros and cons, the odds it would be successful, how you would feel if it did work, how much crow you would have to eat if it didn’t work, the logistics, the costs vs benefits, etc.

It's war in your head!

If you choose to justify where you are in life, the thought will not just simply go away. It will return time after time after time. Each time it returns you will wrestle once again with the same decision; to further your justification or pursue it. Each time it returns you will once again, relive that ugly fight in your head. This a fight that will return for years, until you decide to pursue it! William Shakespeare said, “A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant tastes death but once”.

You don't understand why this thought picked you. You don't feel equipped or ready to see it through and it is outside of your comfort zone! The fact remains that this thought is now lodged in Your head. This thought is an invitation to something better, not something to be afraid of. This fight in your head is not about the strength you have, it is more about the courage you possess. Do you possess the courage necessary to stand up and step out? Marianne Williamson said, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” You are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for. I know that you already possess the courage and character necessary to take your first step away from your justification and towards this thought, your dream.

Honor this thought. Take your first step toward your future and just see what wonderful places it takes you. We invite you to join us on the front lines of your Life.

Life begins outside of your familiar zone.

Happy trails!
